I’ve asked my reps why they aren’t demanding Eric Holder’s resignation in light of his openly expressed racist views.
Thus far: Senator Rockefeller-silence, takes him 3 months to send even a form letter at any rate; Senator Manchin-two identical letters that thank me for writing and says how much he wants to be a good senator and NO mention of ANY issue at all; Representative Capito – letter explaining that Prezzie appoints Holder and Holder serves at Prezzie’s pleasure. I thanked for her for the lesson, but pointed out that that doesn’t explain why she’s not calling for Holder’s resignation.
Since both of our Senators and most of our Congressmen are Democrats here in Oregon, I don’t suppose I’ll get any response, but it is worth a try.
It’s rather fun, actually, to put the questions before them — I can imagine the consternation and confabs on what to do. I intend to make phone calls and put my question before the office staff in person.

There’s some awful weather conditions, floods, tornadoes. The world is in a fury, not peaceful as Obama claimed it would be. Oceans retreat… instead there’s been earthquakes and a terrifying tsunami.
Winds here are gusting at 70 mph. Sounds like a train. Trees and branches down, interstate signs down, ground so saturated by rain, flooding, it’s a mess. Woke us up at 5:00 AM. Lots of power outages too and sirens constantly.

Kenya (listed as Obama’s father’s nation of birth) wasn’t called Kenya in 1961. It was the British East Africa Protectorate. It was not known as “Kenya” until 1963. Google “Roots of the Kenyan Struggle For Independence” In 1961, the hospital Obama was born in was NOT named the Kapiolani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital , as shown on the above certificate. In 1961, the hospital Obama was born in was named the Kauaikeolani Children’s Hospital. It did not change its name to the Kapiolani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital until it merged with the Kapiolani hospital system in 1978. I wonder who’s paying her expenses for the launch, she must require many medical assistants.
Depending on how much cognitive damage done to the frontal lobes, she may take 30 years to heal. The brain takes a long time to relearn. When one area is damaged, other areas have to learn to do whatever function that was. Her speech, walking, sight, and various other functions that may have been damaged is a long process of healing. Also, the rehab and just getting through another day is very tiring for them. She may even have seizures and medications adjusted for that, bloodwork every month, it goes on and on.
Wasn’t her recent medical update mentioning she can stand on her own and take a couple of steps? Then we see her climbing steps to an airplane ? That was speedy.
I wish her all the best in reaching her new normal that will include an enjoyable quality of life. Shame on the Obamas for making her political with their faux caring photo ops.
Optimism is great, but I think it would require a miracle that is beyond modern medicine for her to run for the Senate. It’s unlikely that she can even begin to do her job as it currently. I wish her the absolute best and hope that she makes a full recovery. She could be a Senator in a disabled state, but I really hope that she concentrates on being the absolute best (health-wise) that she can be.
It was good to see her climbing up the stairs to the plane on her own and certainly her recovery thus far has been amazing. Let’s pray for her and hope that her new normal is close to the old normal. May God Bless her and may her husband have a safe mission!

By this time those who have suffered brain insults (strokes, traumas) are being taught to climb stairs as part of their rehab. The patient wears a wide, heavy webbing “gait belt” around their waist at all times when they are out of bed – and an attendant always holds on to this belt when they transfer to a chair, walk, climb stairs, whatever. She could use her left hand on the railing; her right hand is still said to be weak.
Do go and read about TBI (traumatic brain injury), rehabilitation, and aphasia. You’ll learn a lot about this subject.
As for the isolation room, the families of the astronauts are kept apart in case of a mishap. She may be in some sort of room by herself, but the isolation is not unusual.
Her husband is pushing her more than anyone – and keeping the media involved.
I have a hunch he’ll retire from NASA and perhaps run for her seat. There could be residency problems however – he is not an Arizona resident.
I’ve lived with a person who suffered a brain injury for over two years now. He was injured in a job related accident. He has trouble with his balance and short term memory. Stress makes him close to non-functional in the cognitive thinking areas of his brain. He has black outs (seizures) and is on Dilantin, 135 mg twice a day, down from four times a day. I went through rehab training with him and a specialist. Every day with him is still a challenge. I’ve also read the recommended books, “Living With Brain Injury” is the most significant one. I’ve learned more then I wanted to ever know about the subject already.
I wish her only the best and pray that the MOO and O leave her alone. Once again, they will do anything to get attention. As wonderful as a launch is, he really ought to be in the Big White working on say……..getting gas prices down or say……..getting employment up or say………..the 3 wars we are currently involved in or one of the numerous problems our country has. Let’s see…..Oprah……..3 fund raisers tying up traffic in NYC for hours on end ……….shuttle launch. Time for a vacation!

Not So Fast, Mr. Obama: Trust But Verify

Yesterday, President Obama released a long form birth certificate. In doing so, he lectured Americans about what was truly important in America. “We do not have time for this kind of silliness,” he intoned. “We’ve got better stuff to do. I’ve got better stuff to do. We’ve got big problems to solve, and I’m confident we can solve them, but we’re going to have to focus on them, not on this.” He then promptly boarded Air Force One to solve one of those vital problems — by flying to Chicago for another appearance on Oprah’s show.
Let’s focus now on one very simple question: why did he fight not to release the long form birth certificate?
Why did it take the moving of mountains (or at least poll numbers) to get Obama to release a long form birth certificate after literally years of stonewalling? Although there is incriminating evidence on the long form birth certificate — in that the numbers are still out of sequence with the Nordyke twins’ numbers — we already knew that from Obama’s Certification of Live Birth (COLB). In fact, were it not for the certificate numbers and the date accepted by the Registrar General on the Nordyke twins’ birth certificates, and the certificate number and the date filed by the registrar on Obama’s COLB, this indication of forgery would never have been detected.
So why did he fight not to release it? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that Obama wasn’t hiding anything that is on the present long form birth certificate. The evidence indicates that what he is hiding is that his long form birth certificate may not be genuine.
Two years ago, the mainstream media published online a Certification of Live Birth for Mr. Obama and told us it was a birth certificate, which the White House at the time did not correct. More recently, in an article written by Michael Isikoff, National Investigative Correspondent for NBC News, a spokesman for the Hawaii attorney general’s office, Joshua Wisch, was interviewed. The article stated:
“It’s a Department of Health record and it can’t be released to anybody,” he [Wisch] said. Nor do state laws have any provision that authorizes such records to be photocopied, Wisch said. If Obama wanted to personally visit the state health department, he would be permitted to inspect his birth record, Wisch said.
Despite Hawaii’s own statute stating otherwise, this was the reporting. Some investigative work!
Mr. Obama sent Lt. Col. Terry Lakin, a decorated combat-experienced Army flight surgeon, to jail because Obama refused to release his birth certificate. That document couldn’t have been produced 6 months ago to prevent Lt. Col. Lakin’s being manacled and shipped to Fort Leavenworth prison to rot in a cell? What possible explanation and what sort of character does Obama have, especially as Commander-in-Chief, for sending a soldier to jail, ruining his career, over the very same document the soldier had to produce for his military deployment orders?
And then there is the case of Mrs. Eleanor Nordyke. A few weeks back, American Thinker published my article, Trump Needs to Shift to Second Gear on Birth Certificate Challenge. In it, I explained that the certificate number on Obama’s “Certification of Live Birth” is out of sequence to the certificate numbers on the long form birth certificates of the Nordyke twins, also born in Hawaii. We know by both the Nordyke and Obama long forms that an incremental stamp was used for the certificate numbers, yet Obama’s certificate number is higher than the twins’ when it should have been lower.
Mrs. Nordyke, copying an attorney, wrote to say that the reason why Obama’s certificate number was higher than her twins’ was because Ann Dunham, Obama’s mother, entered the hospital after Mrs. Nordyke and the time of a pregnant woman’s entrance to the hospital is what determined the birth registration number.
In what can in my mind only be described as a “lawyered-up” email, Nordyke went on to say “The ‘sequence’ refers to time of birth certificate registration — not to the actual time of delivery,” cleverly confusing the two ideas of a birth certificate registration and the mother’s registration at the hospital. It is clever because of this fact: the birth certificate numbers were not assigned at the hospital; rather, they were assigned at the Hawaii Department of Health (HDOH) at the Main office in Honolulu when the birth certificates were accepted and filed there. That is the only place it was done, so Nordyke’s statement is entirely misleading since no birth certificate numbers were given when the mother entered the hospital. Nor were they assigned when the baby was born.
I wrote back to her and said among other things:
Your letter has engendered a few questions. Previous statements of yours indicate that you did not see Ann Dunham in Kapiolani Hospital during the time when you were there to deliver your twins in August 1961…. Also, since the hospital records are closed to the public and Mr. Obama is not talking about or unsealing his records, how do you now know or believe that Ann Dunham arrived shortly after you did, or if she ever did, and how do you know when she delivered her child? [...]
Without proof (someone to attest by name to Ann Dunham entering the hospital or an admissions record or a record of birth time), information which neither the hospital, the state, nor Mr. Obama will provide, and because of your conflicting statements, I’d need to know more about how or why this information in your email is now valid or meaningful.
Why would Mrs. Nordyke say this? In my opinion, the Obama supporters are very concerned about the central message in my article — that whatever he releases as a birth certificate simply must be forensically tested. An honest man does not fear a forensics evaluation of his birth certificate.
President Reagan was right when he said, “Trust, but verify.”
President Obama’s long form birth certificate must be tested forensically.
At the very least, a forensics expert should examine the hospital admission records for Stanley Ann Dunham, as well as the paper and ink formulation on the original long form birth certificate.
Do these requests seem unreasonable? Not at all as one considers that, when enemies of George W. Bush began to question his Texas Air National Guard service, they demanded copies of his service records. He then released them, and they continued to question him, demanding hard copies.
Oh! — and now that President Obama has released a long form birth certificate, will he ask the Democrats to drop their opposition to state laws requiring forensic testing of such documents? I would hope that Mr. Obama now would wholeheartedly endorse efforts of state legislators introducing eligibility bills, to include provisions for forensics testing of any documents where authenticity might be in question.
An honest man has nothing to fear from a forensics test: like DNA evidence, it helps to convict the guilty and protect the innocent.

“As a PA resident I can attest to the sea change in attitudes towards Barack Obama here.
It’s public, it’s palpable and it’s entirely due to inflation.
It’s astonishing to me that a bunch of guys who are supposed to be so smart think that women aren’t going to the grocery store and leaving in a state of shock, disbelief and, occasionally, panic.
And a Democrat who frightens women cannot win anything. Period.
I just started playing a sort of instant citizen poll at stores. It began a week or so ago at Sams’ Club:
I was in one of THOSE lines and ended up chatting with a well dressed middle aged woman with a cart half full of grocery items.
I made mention of the fact that while I didn’t normally make the hike to Sams’ that with prices going up I figured I had to make the effort.
She exploded: Prices are sky high, she’s feeding three kids, eating store brands and sale items but can’t afford to stock up, on and on.
Then the lady in front of HER piped in: if prices keep going up she doesn’t know what she’ll do, their budget is already at the breaking point, trying to keep a daughter in college, off she goes.
Then a man in the next line over heard them and HE jumped in: this is ridiculous, Washington is killing us, economy broken, he’s off to the races.
I thought maybe this was just a coincidence, so I’ve started the same conversation in store lines twice more in the past week and it’s exactly the same: people are frightened and EVERYONE wants to talk about it out loud.
The interesting thing to me is that everyone used to be very reluctant to speak out in public against Obama. You were always afraid some leftie whackjob would hear you and tear into you. You know what I mean.
But now the gloves are off, people are freaking out and Obama can raise FIVE billion dollars for his campaign and organize until the cows come home and call everyone in the country a racist until he turns blue but it’s not going to convince anyone that they’re not paying an arm and a leg for half a cart worth of food.
There is no more basic thing to people, and it’s off the hook.

My favorite grandma memory comes from when I was about 4. I was growing up in Los Alamos (home of the A bomb)…my Dad was in the first class hired to provide security for development of the bomb. Dad’s parents lived 2 houses down the street. This is ca. 1956 or so. Every morning I would toodle down the sidewalk (unescorted) so I could go have tea with Grandma. Years later, I learned I had a very little tea with my cream and sugar….but it brings a smile to my heart.
Kids and grandmas, is there anything better then that? That’s why they call them “grand”.
Yes, I’ll set my alarm for 4 A.M. and lie in bed and watch……..all snug as a bug and feeling kinda smug that MOO COW, Moo-Moo-1, Moo-Moo-2, and Prissy Boy are not among the invited guests.
NOW, since MOO and Prissy get up at 4 A.M. to exercise (sorry….snickering here), I’m certain they’ll get in a better workout on Royal wedding day. Can you see MOO galloping faster and faster on the treadmill (Moo-mill) with steam coming out of her ears and the cone on her head coming loose and sticking up all over the place…..really ticked off that she isn’t being escorted down the aisle and sitting right behind the Queen. WOW! She thought they were BFF forever and ever since the Queen hugged back!
She might even go down a dress size and she can have William and Kate to thank for a couple of sweaters finally fitting.
You can bet your last nickel that she is S-T-E-A-M-E-D that she isn’t going. She’ll never get over it.

With all the elegance at the royal wedding, it is obvious why MOO was snubbed:

Oh I thought the same. Thank God they were not invited. Omg cannot imagine which loud outfit she would have chosen. I am not much for royal family and do not believe in monarcy but Kate has definetely won my heart. So classy and elegant. And no tacky strapless wedding gown , trend that I never understood as majority of people just dont have the body to wear a strapless gown plus what happened to the modest blushing bride??? Kate over the past 8 years have almost always dressed classy and is a good role model for how one can dress attractively and still land a prince.
Now not to give everyone a nightmare but just contrast that with our very own Michelle-the- ghetto- obama….enough said.
I pity all the people that MOO meets and hugs. Gosh I would be repulsed to be hugged by slimy MOO.

I enjoyed the Royal Wedding television programs very much and felt proud of Western Civilization and very glad that MoochMO wasn’t in the middle trying to upstage the bride.

I watched most of the fabulous wedding (even with the 3 hour time dif) and what a beautiful bride. The English people attending were obviously loving every minute.
The Queen looked..beautiful, too.
The Bride’s sister was elegant.
After so much bad news, troubles and sadness it was so nice to see a happy wedding.
The crowds of people were so enthusiastic….it was a joy to see.
All the Royal trappings, the carriages, it was all such a sight. I have never seen anything like it.
Glad I got up to see it all.
I only watched a few minutes at the beginning and plan to catch up today–but I am in agreement with the rest of you birdettes–SWMBO would have been a massive embarrassment to the USA. She would have worn some cocktail dress, sleeveless of course, too small metalic shoes, greasy legs, dirty wig and the good Lord only knows what She would have put on as a hat, if any. Thank goodness the Royals spared us and the rest of the world such a sight as She would have attempted to upstage the bride.
Wasn’t that awful photo of that awful MOOch in the wedding-cake outfit, taken at the doorway of Westminster Cathedral? The one where she’s waving jauntily in the SEE I’M BETTER THN PRINCESS DIANA mode? I thought of that today watching the Royals arrive in perfect taste.
