Check this out!! SUPPORT the OCCUPY White House VIDEOS!
Best creative site since MOTUS!
I just LOVE LOVE this idea...The OCCUPY WH Videos can correct the lies from the Obama teleprompters every time!
And show Congress that the American people demand to AUDIT the FED! Make Obama veto the bill!!!
LOL… I spotted this book cover and thought immediately it was about Her HOTmess, the MOOCH! Had a tinge of envy that someone had the steel nerves to write such a book!!
LOL!!! Newt is great, he definitely comes across as the smartest one! If I could pick I’d pick Newt and Ron Paul as VP. Have them tear down the power houses in D.C. and set the place right, to run under the US Constitution.
Sorry, have to disagree Birdie…no Ron Paul as VP…we don’t need a 77 year old man as VP. Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, or Allen West would be far better young candidates for VP.
The GOP should look to their very strong stable of rising stars, there’s a lot of future talent there. No Newt as VP, he has too much of a mind of his own, plus he’d upstage the President at every opportunity.
With that said, I’m still ABO and would vote for a potted plant over Obama
Fortunately, there are a whole bunch more primaries, but that South Carolina news isn’t good. It never ceases to amaze me how Republicans shoot themselves in the foot. So many people can’t see beyond the ends of their noses. It does go to show how people hate the press and are tired of the press ruining people’s lives with their hypocrisy.
While I respect your thoughts, IMHO Ron Paul should never be allowed to get anywhere near the WH. As for Gingrich, while he may be a good fighter and outspoken, he’s as much a big government guy as BO. As Speaker, he had the same problem with over spending as the Dems have now. That whole Contract for America spin was just that….spin.
So much going on anymore;
Elizabeth Smart is engaged and I wish her well and a prosperous, peaceful anonymous life.
Etta James died today; truly more than a great singer she was an artist of the song.
Since Alabama passed their strict immigration sanctions, tens of thousand of illegals have fled the state and tens of thousands of jobs became available for Alabamians.
Alabamans. Alabamanites. whatever.
The debate was a hoot. Gotta love that audience, I agreed with every applause!
That’s wonderful news about E.S. – I hope the media will no longer take her photos.
Alabama, WOW…concrete proof that illegals are taking jobs away from us. And as bad as Obama’s work programs are there will be plenty of citizens looking to set tile, clean pools, do yard work, and other manual work … any job is better than sitting at home feeling sorry for yourself.
How many hours, in front of the mirror (not MOTUS) did it take him to do this? Take 455, again, try it again..take 456, take…This was not spontaneous!!
I. Am. So. Pissed. Tell me again why we gave Brazil 200 Million dollars to drill for oil…..
Obama sings while China makes some serious moves.
[...]The relationship with China goes back to at least two years before Mr. Obama came to Brazil to applaud the oil discovery and tell Mrs. Rouseff:
“We want to work with you. We want to help with technology and support to develop these oil reserves safely, and, when you’re ready to start selling, we want to be one of your best customers.”[...]
A judge has ordered President Barack Obama to appear in court in Atlanta for a hearing on a complaint that says Obama isn’t a natural-born citizen and can’t be president.
It’s one of many such lawsuits that have been filed across the country, so far without success. A Georgia resident made the complaint, which is intended to keep Obama’s name off the state’s ballot in the March presidential primary
Bolton is right…at least Romney will move this country away from the far left Progressive agenda…..that in itself is a good thing.
He is also more electable….Indies aren’t going to vote for Gingrich….no way, no how.
While Gingrich may be attacking the media (who doesn’t despise them for their bias) and is the hero of the right for the moment, he’s not going to win against Obama.
I’m not voting to lose this election…..I’ll campaign for Romney but not Newt
OT. Why is there such a big to-do about MrRomney’s tax returns? I really don’t care to see his tax returns or any of the other candidates returns either.
I’m sure he’s wealthy, came from a wealthy family, and invested wisely. Good for him.
But, what it has to do with his qualifications to be the POTUS is beyond my understanding.
I think the problem is that Romney Made Money as a businessman, which is now a mortal sin, in our brave new world, where everyone gets free cookies… The Shame of it all !
Actually, the fact he has made millions in his business dealings is a plus. He’s savvy and hasn’t broken any laws along the way. The big deal is the whole class warfare meme BO’s putting out there. I don’t give one hoot about anyone’s tax returns. One only has to look it up on the net to find out someone’s net worth.
The extravagant lifestyle of teh WONS compared to Romney are over the top insulting.
Romney’s wealth has helped employ people, BO’s wealth has only served his own interest.
[...]First, there is the problem of double taxation. A share of stock is simply a piece of a company. A stock’s price goes up a little if a company is expected to make a little money and it goes up a lot if the company is expected to make a bundle. The future earnings of the company are thus built into the stock price. When you buy a stock, you are basically buying a piece of its earnings. But those earnings will be taxed as corporate income. (The top corporate income tax rate in the U.S. is 35 percent.) If the added value of the stock is taxed as well, then those earnings effectively are being taxed not once, but twice. That hardly seems fair.
Second problem: inflation. Let’s say you bought a share of stock for $100 in 1995 and sold it in 2010 for $200. You cleared $100, right? Not really – because a dollar in 2010 buys less than a dollar bought in 1995. (That’s why people on Social Security get annual cost-of-living adjustments.) Because of inflation, in 2010 it took $143 to buy what $100 bought in 1995. So you really made only $57.
If you pay a 15 percent tax on the $100 face-value gain, then you are really paying $15 on an actual gain of $57, so your true tax rate is 26 percent.
The spread between 15 percent and 26 percent isn’t huge, of course. But suppose you bought a stock in 1970, and sold it for double the price 30 years later. You actually would have lost money – lots of it – because what cost $100 in 1970 dollars cost $443 in 2010 dollars.
And there have been times when the results of inflation plus higher capital-gains tax rates have been terrible. For instance, according to one Federal Reserve analysis, the actual tax rate on investments in the Dow Jones Industrials index between 1972 and 1992 was a whopping 233 percent. In other words: Investors paid $233 in taxes for every $100 they made. That hardly seems fair, either.[...]
From the Arena at POLITICO…..is the State of the Union Useful?……not with BO addressing the joint session and Supremes. He’s managed to insult the highest court, the R-words and even the citizens of the US.
BO lies…..again {sigh} If he wants to help the middle class, let the Keystone Pipeline be built
[...]One source on the call said Obama referred to his a speech he delivered in Kansas last month — where he sought to portray himself as a champion of the middle class — and said he is striving for an economy where everyone is “engaging in fair play and everyone has a fair shot.”[...]
The ONLY *fair shot* we will have is when the King of Lies and Deceit is tossed out of Big White. PERIOD
This is so egregious….there are no words for the contempt I feel for this underhanded dirty political cronyism….ND oil to be moved by more expensive rail due to not being able to tie into the XL Pipeline…..guess who is the biggest benefactor of this…..ready for it?…..
And who has a big stake in Burlington Northern? A guy in Omaha named Buffett.
And by having TransCanada tie its Keystone XI to the border crossing approval you can’t get a segmented line from Montana to Port Arthur, TX that the Bakken field could tie into. That is the concept. A collector system named the BakkenLink runs down to Montana from ND and ties into Keystone XI (known as MarketLink). A twofer you might say.
So, in a way it is a Win-Win for Obama – He wins his Green base and his Crony Capitalism base.
We MUST have Romney as the nominee. His biggest negative? He made money. He earned it.
He was top of his class at Brigham Young. He actually earned a joint MBA (top 5%) and a juris doctor degree (top third). He earned millions himself and when his father died and left him an inheritance, he gave it to charity.
He has been married to Ann for 43 years and has five sons. The first three have Harvard MBAs, the fourth has a medical degree and the fourth has a bachelor’s degree. There is nothing with which to assail this man’s character.
SO, they will go after Romney for his ability to make money legally. If Romney has learned from Newt to not get defensive, that will be a big plus.
Romney can win the election against Obama. He has many pluses and is greatly qualified. In fact, he may be just the right person at the right time. If he runs the right campaign, he wins.
And, BTW, his MBA and JD were from Harvard. And, I’ll just bet his records aren’t sealed and I’ll also bet my house that people there actually remember him being there .
There are people who have privileged lifestyles that are raised in loving, giving homes that teach values. Romney was raised that way. Just as we can look at his sons – their educations, their families, their lifestyles and see that they were raised in a loving home with family values, so was Mitt Romney. That’s one of the things I like about him. His father was very successful, yet he took young Mitt to work with him and taught him about business at home. He wasn’t a spoiled rich kid and neither are his sons. To me, that’s a huge plus. His values are ingrained in him; they are second nature.
When you look at Newt, you see a man who was raised by a manic depressive mother and he no doubt has made his mistakes in life – at least partially anyway – because of that very tattered childhood. He did, after all, get married at 19 to a woman much older than he and who had been his teacher. I’m not a psychologist, but it sounds like he desperately needed a mother figure. The affairs, the new wife before he left the old wife – probably mother issues. No excuses, but we are all a product of our past.
So, yes, Mitt is pretty much like the rest of us but with a bigger bank account, a bigger house, and a bigger family.
The White House job would mean a huge pay cut, but at least we wouldn’t be paying for lavish vacations. I imagine he would actually go home for respites.
Lynn II thank you for being so informed. I am learning a lot about politics and the way fgovernment and the White House functions through you and the other Birdies. Thanks!!
Welcome…..if the LSM weren’t so in the tank for BO, they would be bringing all this “crony capitalism” to light.
Strange how they are going after Romney (and so are the R-words) for acquiring wealth and never mention Soros or Buffet and their wealth and what they get as favors from BO for donating to his campaign and backing him, along with a lot of other bundlers and donors.
I’m hoping Romney can get past the voter’s kneejerk reaction to the Gingrich ploy. People should not vote based on feelings. That’s how Dems get votes, by playing to feeeeelings!
I bet these new Jordan shoes will fit Mooch. She could wear them with one of her outfits with her boob, bullet belt, too small of sweater, dirty, unkept wig and present herself to the Hollywood crowd as the First Clown of the White House. The shoes are soooooooooo ugly, butt would be the deloght of MooCow…oops, Mooch!
Good heavens, what kind of idiots wrote the article on that page? Jivin’, no doubt. I was very disappointed to see my favorite candle company advertising there.
I am all for Barry paying more taxes. Let him finance the government all he wants, after all Mooch has literally spent millions on her vaycays, parties, and more than likely other hidden things that the Obutts have kept undr cover. BUTT, hey Barry, leave my taxes alone, I don’t want to support your socialistic, welfare state, you closet supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood.
As I recall, his last tax return was something like 65 pages long….took every credit/ loophole that he could. I don’t blame anyone for taking the credits they can, but, don’t then turn around and play the class card.
I really don’t understand how and why they think they can get away with this hypocrisy. If you want examples of statements with hypocrisy you can pretty much pick any statements made by these commi-socialists.
I read this article about Mooch and how she has been painted as a racial stereotype, “Angry Black Woman.” Although the author is basically covering for Mooch as a Black woman wronged by being labled as angry, I thought it was interesting that Blacks still want to see her in a different light. Of course, I understand why Blacks still cover for Barry and Mooch, butt it is still frustrating as a voting citizen and taxpayer that these phonies may get another four years to distroy America as a country of freedom and prosperity.
Another writer who doesn’t know what “the eye of the storm” means. Sigh.
That’s the best picture they could come up with to counter the notion that MoochMORE is an angry woman?
I confess I could not bear to read the article after my eyes caught some phrase about no one being able to deny MoochMORE’s grace, intellect, etc. Generally, I don’t read fiction..
Fox News declared him the winner over an hour ago. Mitt just gave his concession speech. Some talking heads are saying it’s going to be a BIG win (in terms of numbers)….
OT- The Christian Children’s Fund has become “ChildFund.” In the U.S., it “targets” Native American, African American and Hispanic children, (where ChildFund focuses its efforts) and one of the things it does is “restoration of cultural values and traditions unique to each of our target communities.”
More specifically, “We help reconnecting children and youth to traditional cultural values, arts and crafts through direct participation and visiting artists. This strengthens children’s cultural identity, confidence and tolerance for others.”
They are not talking about traditional mainsteam American values, I gather. I think I can imagine the work that these “visting artists” produce.
Such a disappointment. I once sponsored a child through them, but will not be giving them money for their racial and cultural divisionism. These kids need to learn that they are Americans and all the great American of the past, of all races and backgrounds, are their ancestors, not just the ones who had their genetic makeup or came from a certain nation.
Here in the Southwest, we have the Indian tribes and the old Hispanic cultures…both are disappearing fast. The problem…the family. My ex grew up in Colorado and New Mexico in the 1950′s in a Spanish-speaking household. I should add, our Spanish here is not traditional…it is an isolated dialect that evolved over several hundred years. He went to school speaking Spanish only. English was taught, but he went home to Spanish. He can read English, but not Spanish. He married a bilingual woman and they had 5 children. They spoke English and Spanish in the home, but the kids rebelled against the Spanish. Result…in 2 generations the language was lost…their kids couldn’t communicate with Grandma and Grandpa.
In dealing with the Navajo, Zuni, and Hopi tribes on the rez, I’ve seen the same thing has happened. There is no amount of money that can save these traditions. It has to come from inside the family and the community. I haven’t checked stats, only seen with my own eyes, that the number of Indian children who can speak the language is very low.
I’m not saying that only language is important…it’s the cultural bonds…Hispanic and Indian family values were very important. It held communities together and the morals were very strict. It’s all been tossed out, and the result can be seen in the crime stats.
Which is why we need to worry about the millions of illegal alien Mexicans and other latinos here who are forming razist groups and instituting Spanish in an English-speaking culture.
But teaching children to cleave unto a minority culture without also making them feel an accepted and seamless part of the larger culture also can lead to the sort of separatism that marginalizes these “target populations” and also leads to crime and lives that are less than they could be.
If the Indian culture can’t pass on their own heritage, why are tax dollars being used to do it?
What about the American students who are being taught to identify with Mexico and Mexican “grievances” — the ones who are going hysterical in L.A. because “their” classes are no longer offered in the public schools?
And why the racialism? This group doesn’t help Cajuns preserve their culture, don’t see them here teaching Appalachian values and culture.
IMO………….People are sick and tired of the MSM and the Dems trashing the conservative values that the majority of Americans hold dear. They see ol’Newt as the only one who has the guts to bring the fight, to say what we all think and to make things right.
I’m not a Newt fan, but I can see the appeal he has to people who feel like our government has abandoned our Christian or Judean values, our Constitution and are trying to shove their liberal balderdash down our throats. We’re sick of the calls of RACIST and trying to make us feel guilty because we want our nation to be of the LAW, not justice.
If any of the Repub candidates or even our elected officials would be so bold as to tell the MSM that we’re not going to take it anymore, they would be our heros, too.
There’s a reason why FOX has the highest rated news progams, it’s because we believe we actually do get some truth and balance from them.
This is only my opinion. I’ll vote for anyone the Repubs put up against Obama.
Well said. I think Newt got a big boost because he took on the MSM – ABOUT TIME! I – and I think many others – am sick of tip-toeing around the obvious. In 2008, McCain ran such a horrible campaign – wouldn’t criticize Obama or the DIMS and I was absolutely infuriated. That nitwit daughter kept causing trouble – I even called his offices over her. I think it’s time we call it as it is and Newt has started. I would like Romney to stop apologizing for Bain Capital. It’s an amazing success story and he’d better take a note from Newt if he expects to recover. Be proud of your accomplishments!
I would like to see Romney as the nominee, but I can certainly see the appeal of Newt. Maybe he has finally come together as a politician and maybe he’s right for us. Could be that he’s happily married now?
Butt, I will support the nominee. We really must defeat Obama and we must call him the liar and socialist that he is. At least we know that Newt will do that and Newt will kill him in the debates.
Lately, there’s been a lot of talk (well, words) about the death of the Tea Party. They were no longer relevenant. This is what we were supposed to think…and happily vote for Romney, the candidate of the elite.
It’s too early to tell, but I do hope this is an uprising…we are not going to “settle” this time. We did that last time, and look where we are. Newt is not my first choice, but I’ll support his fight. It’s about damn time! Just watch the attacks from the elite over the next few days…it’ll be ugly.
“Newt Gingrich’s rise has a lot to do with Newt Gingrich’s debate performance. But it has just as much to do with a party base in revolt against its thought and party leaders in Washington, DC. The base is revolting because they swept the GOP back into relevance in Washington just under two years ago and they have been thanked with contempt ever since…”
Looks like Newt and Mitt will keeping debating and fighting, let the best man win and be ready to trash BOBS with or without teleprompters. Both of them have so much more REAL experience that my guess is BOBS will look like a man child in comparison.
You are doing all the hard work!! You must have nerves of steel and be a speed reader!! I am so sick of this sad and disgusting Obama saga that I have a hard time even keeping up with you!!
Thank you and all the other Birdies to keep people informed…It’s now the blogs that dig deep to find the truth.
i am here to fight against the two hypocrits in the White House. I will support to whom ever fights against Barry and his nationalistic/socialistic agenda. I take what is written on here to my old classmates, friends and others on my e-mail list. We have to get the two “racists, American haters, wealth grabbers, and complete taxpayer leeches” out of the White House. I am in the fight with you Birdies!!!
Just wandering here; what became of all the women Mr. Cain sexually harassed, including the one who livied in Axe’s apt bldg ? Does anyone think Cain’s supporters have forgotten him ?
Just one example, but all the R candidates would be well advised to keep mouthing off to the media, a poll I saw somewhere claims that 77% of audiences no longer trust the media.
They are being punished for jumping the shark in their drooling over Obama, imo.
Yessss–isn’t it funny how all those victims of the out-of-control black man have disappeared from the media coverage. I think the SC voters just told the media what they think about the latest attempt to hand the nomination to Mittens. The bitter exwife stunt just backfired big time. Newt’s bitchslapping of King defused that storyline very nicely and it was easy to predict who would win that primary judging by the audience reaction. The only question in my mind was the margin of Newt’s victory.
The bitter ex-wife came off to me as a pathetic figure. What doesn’t make sense is that if Newt were looking down the road and wanted to run for president, I don’t think an “open marriage” would be suitable for that. It’s been over a decade since the whole mess ended and people change and move on.
In ’92 when Clinton and Hillary gave the 60 Minutes interview, it appeared that he had been a womanizer but had moved on. The shock was that he would be so stupid to continue his ways in the White House.
In my opinion, Marianne Gingrich isn’t trying to put a halt to Newt’s plan to become President. She’s trying to prevent Callista from becoming First Lady. That’s how she came across to me.
I think the South Carolina vote was more a vote against the media. Newt was David and the media was Goliath………..people are sick of them.
Time to wake up…..finally! this could have a huge domino affect….and I hope it does….self interest trumps politics every time!
[...]We’re repulsed by some of our supposed brothers and sisters lining up with job killers like the Sierra Club and the Natural Resources Defense Council to destroy the lives of working men and women,” LIUNA General President Terry O’Sullivan said in a statement.
The BlueGreen Alliance, a coalition of environmental groups and labor unions, confirmed LIUNA’s exit Friday afternoon.
“The BlueGreen Alliance regrets the decision of the Laborers’ International Union of North America to leave our strategic partnership of labor and environmental organizations,” the group’s executive director, David Foster, said in a statement.
The move underscores the intense political divide among unions over the pipeline, which would carry oil sands crude from Alberta, Canada, to refineries along the Gulf Coast.[...]
The only thing the BlueGreen Alliance regrets is the loss of money from the unions. I thought it would only be a matter of time til they all turned on each other. California is having problems with some of their proposed windmill sites due to the expansion of the condor’s territory. They are on the endangerred species list and if one of them gets killed by a windmill it’s a federal offense.
The Super Bowl is a HUGE event…now, due to the battle in Indiana over right-to-work, the unions are threatening to disrupt the event. Can you imagine the overall public rage? Fans will spend thousands to attend…parking passes are selling at $100-200 on Ebay…tickets are in the thousands to tens of thousands.
“You can tell them we’ll take the Super Bowl and shove it,” said Jeff Combs, organizing director for Teamsters Local 135 in Indianapolis.”
It’s the millions on food stamps and collecting other benefits.
Have you seen any reports on how this long unemployment is making people vote?
With the class warfare I would not be one bit surprised that the unemployed are blaming capitalism for lack of jobs when it is actually Obama who is keeping the lid on job growth by his asinine policies like ObamaCare.
Companies are sitting on cash – I bet if there is a GOP POTUS in 2013 jobs will open up starting in December.
If we get GOP victory, I think things will explode. Right now, business owners are afraid to spend money. They don’t know what the next regulation will be and how much it will cost. This man hates the country, hates anyone making money (except him), and hates anyone who succeeds in any way. SICK OF IT!
Newt killed this morning on Meet the Press. If you can catch it, watch it.
Every answer was spot on. David Gregory even brought up Newt’s referring to Barky’s Saul Alinsky tactics and background. Newt answered it perfectly and challenged the elite media for never covering this. To me, it is a knockout punch to the media after his comments to John King the other night.
The man is brilliant. I will vote for Romney if he is the nominee, but I do favor Newt.
Taking on the media and Obama at the same time is a credit to Newt having the pulse of disgruntled Dems and weary Repubs. We The People are over hopenchangy and want some seriouskickassery
And Why Mitt Why couldn’t you respond to the tax records with “I’ll show you mine as soon as Obama releases ALL his sealed records!”. I don’t care about his taxes, would have just liked to see him open a can of whoopass !
seriouskickassery LMAO!!
no more old hopenchangy, vote for newt’s seriouskickassery
I don’t think anyone but Newt can blast away at all the wrong things and get away with it, worded spot-on, as well as he has. More power to him. This campaign would be a rather dull series of events if Newt was missing.
My son who leans more left than right would vote for Newt over Obama. Well, I told him that if he voted for Obama he’d better never tell me.
OR, you can demand he bring you his absentee ballot and fill it out in front of you – don’t forget to have the latest copy of your WILL lying on the table .
I love Newt for his scrappiness. I hated him for the circus he put the country through over Clinton’s misbehavior, because I liked and supported a lot of Clinton’s policies..Obviously, I am confused… The whole Clinton fiasco certainly shows however, that Newt is unafraid and tough.
I like to think he would be that type of leader, problem is, he can never, ever fault people for doing the same thing he is doing, again.. Ultimately, he is a loose cannon and will likely either self destruct, or fail to raise the big bucks, because he makes contributors nervous.
Newt seems to be spot on lately. It’s very likely that his wife is helping him in keeping his cool. He seems well prepared for any and every question. Maybe his scrapie-ness is just what we need. We’ve had such a wimpy POTUS the change would be kind of nice.
You are so right, the wimpy man child must shiver thinking about debating with Newt.
But, yes, the money people are nervous he will shoot one huge careless statement from the gut rather than from the brain and blow it.
I hope I never have to see a boob belt, nasty hanging toes over too small of shoes, dresses that are too short, too long, ill fitted, oiled body, or mismatched color scheme outfits again.
…sigh…..just like it used to be; FLOTUS does/acts/goes/dresses in such a way that we hardly notice. We will say…oh, she looks nice….clothes fit, are appropriate for the occasion, modest in cut and style, “vacations” are to CampDavid or their own home….sigh…..
…sigh…exactly. I can’t remember any outfits Laura wore but she always looked perfect. She had a beautiful no-fuss hairstyle which was a perfect fit for the shape of her face and her general style.
Ack! The MOO House of Horrors. I can’t even look. No more MOO. No more MOO.
Getting rid of MOO is the secondary benefit of voting Barry out.
It takes care of the MOO problem, too.
Here’s a clip of Newt and Callista. Notice how well-groomed Callista is. Notice there are no exaggerated faces or thumbs up or fist bumping. Just a well mannered potential FLOTUS.
I don’t think MO will ever stop being a topic here. After living as a Queen for 4 years, it’s going to be fun watching her re-entry into the Real World where you have to spend your own money
1. Talk Show host on the Oprah network ?
2. Newsbunny on Al Gore’s Current TV ?
3. Board of Directors at a high fashion house ?
4. My personal favorite …. New Disney Show…..Too Much MO playing the mom to Sasha and Malia and constantly getting into embarrassing situations they have to get her out of.
Gabby Giffords resigning from Congress to concentrate on her recovery. I wish her well, but can’t help but think she was forced out now for the 2012 election. Last I heard the AZ Dems wanted her to step aside ? What hear you my AZ birdie friends ?
I don’t want to sound cruel, but it’s about time. She should have stepped down last year to focus on her recovery. People who suffer brain trauma cannot function as they did before.
I wish her nothing but the best in the coming months and years. Their is a long road ahead of her. It won’t be easy, but she seems to have the determination to surmount all obstacles.
She was used by the Democratic party until she no longer became useful (electable). Shame on them, and shame on her husband and family for allowing it to happen. Her district has been un/under represented for the last year. Did anyone give a thought to the people who elected her to support them and their interests in Congress?
Yesss–I suspect that the party’s internal polling indicated that she is not electable in the present state of her health, so over the side she went. I could see the Demos trying to run her husband in her place to milk the sympathy vote, but I don’t think he is a resident of the district so that may prevent that attempt.
I don’t know if he is a resident of the district either ( my district) but I swear I saw him driving out of my neighborhood a few weeks ago. My daughter thought so too. My husband said he has a t win brother so maybe that was him.
It is waaaaaayyy past time for her to step down. If and when she fully recovers and runs, she would be re-elected in a heartbeat, though I would not vote for her and never have.
Lots of fuss and angst around here in the news anytime anyone dared suggest she should step down so most people kept quiet because those who didn’t were tarred and feathered.
We went thru memorials, events commemorating the anniversary of the shooting. I felt sick about it. Talk was again about the “vitriol” in politics as if that was the reason the shooting happened.
The parents of Christina Green, the 9-year old killed, do not hate the shooter. They think of her tragic death as an accident…as if she had died in a car crash. And that is how I think everyone should think of this tragedy. One madman killing all those people, one bad crash killing as many people – that is just as tragic but no memorial services are held in public on each anniversary.
I moved to Tucson a few years ago from Scottsdale and this community (actually Tucson is 30 miles south of where I live) is very different from Scottsdale. There are many more poor Hispanics.
The redistricting makes this a messy two step election – one to fill Gabby’s current seat for the rest of the year, and then the election for District 2.
I had a hard time imagining how her co-workers would expect her to even show up for votes, etc., when focusing on recovery is what she should have been doing.
I hope to never hear of the shooter, again, to be honest. I dislike when criminals are given press time.
It seems more and more established liberals are fed up with both Obamas. Nice to read.
Newt will demolish Obama in the debates. Newt will not be nice and he is very bright and quick. He will take it right to him. That will be so much fun. I do not know if Romney can take on O the way Newt will. Newt is kind of fun if he does not self-destruct. Newt can make things happen as president, I am not sure if Romney can do that. I like both of them for different reasons
What did those fawning asshats expect? Hope and Change? More like grievance and whining….teh WONS are too into themselves to be into this country or any other. ….entitlement attitude and a bunch of bootlickers. Some of us are actually intelligent enough not to make rock stars out of our pols…..we know better unlike the smitten starry eyed jerks who put this unaccomplished couple into office…..GRRRR
Re; Congresswoman Giffords
She should have stepped down months ago. Her district had NO representation in Congress while she made a valiant effort at rehab. She is a miracle of modern medicine, and a determined survivor and I wish her all the best.
But, we all have to face our limitations and she’s no exception. Southern Arizona leans to the Dems, while Northern Arizona leans heavily to the Repubs. I haven’t heard of anyone who might be running for her position yet.
Good luck to her and her family.
I remember a few months back a guy was talking about running for her position. The media and Dems slapped him down for it.
As for the Dems Party Leaders, most crass bunch of users in the universe.
Then in this one, look at the skin on her chin, by her laugh line … and follow that line over toward her ears. It looks like she has gotten her dark skin out of a makeup bottle. Or else her makeup guy painted a white woman zone onto her neck and a slice of her chin. What’s up with that? http://mrs-o.com/storage/137252812.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1326856229850
Oh, what they’ve done is taken a brown smudge stick and drawn a jawline. Clinique has them, I know. They are like lipsticks, but in darks and lights to kinda… sculpt depth or build highlight. It does look peculiar being that it wasn’t properly blended. Along under the chin like that, it can create a more defined, thinner jaw.
I do have to add… Look at Obama in that picture. When I see him tread to the tee, when I see him dance, whatever, the first thought that hits my brain is,
“That is the whitest black man I’ve ever seen.” He behaves like he should work at Radio Shack. He has a very… mayonnaise demeanor to him.
I just wish the containment system wasn’t so obvious. Panty lines in a formal gown are a big no-no! MO doesn’t get that the simplest of things count when wearing high fashion. {sigh}
Romney finally takes it to Gingrich….hope he grows a spine sooner then later. He’ll need it if he gets the nomination. Going up against the thug Dems of Chicgo won’t be a cakewalk.
The election is about liberty and freedom…..with that comes the ability to prosper. The R-words need to push that message, hard.
[...]If victory in 2012 is to come, the formula for victory is clear. Republicans must begin from the premise of liberty and run against Barack Obama’s habitual, instinctive aggrandizement of the government, the executive, the crony class, and himself. Rather than portraying the president as a man who wants to make America much weaker, Republicans should depict him as a man who wants to make the uncontested rule of his kind of elites much stronger. Rather than promising greater prosperity than government can guarantee, Republicans are obliged to emphasize the damage done to America when freedom is traded away for any degree of prosperity.[...]
I am disgusted with Mitt… http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0112/71802.html
He is desperate. I think Reagan warned to never attack someone of your same political party.
I think Newt showed exceptional leadership and passion in the last debate. To me, Romney comes across as bland white bread. I still like him, and that he says Obama is in over his head And that he would be millions of times better as President than Obama, but the candidates need to focus on Obama and not each other as they are feeding into the hands of Obama by doing so.
That being said, more than half this country has been divorced and Mitt is one of that number. It doesn’t disqualify him for leadership unless he has a woman under the oval office desk and lies about it.
And last, he can out-debate Obama with his tongue tied behind his back. Newt is intelligent and that has been recognized all his life. He was voted most intellectual in high school. I love that he has so much knowledge of history as those who don’t know history are prone to repeat it. He would make the best president in my opinion so go Newt!
I have a lot of reservations about Gingrich…all of them based on his stint in the House and his lobbying for Freddie Mac. I could care less about divorces, or how many kids any candidate has….I care about who actually can do the job. Gingrich, for all his debating skills and historical knowledge, is still a big government guy deep down. He oversaw one of the largest spending increases in the House. he’s always been a loose cannon speaking before he thinks things through. He’s not exactly the most ethical politician…..don’t forget BO was also touted as a giant intellect…..look where that got us.
I don’t trust Gingrich, not at all.
I don’t either. l also think he’s a statist. Not what this country needs. Though I do enjoy his verbal sparring and think he’s very smart. Watching him debate BO would be a joy. But in the end I’m a member of the ABO (potted plant) party.
Actually I have looked at Newt’s chart but no one knows his birthtime so that makes it almost completely worthless when trying to predict anything. I have had some luck in rectifying charts (get this, by guessing via my Daughter’s boyfriends, lol) so I read up what I could about Gingrich and found two probable birthtimes. One from a neighbor who remembered he was born around 3 a.m. or so. … It seemed much more likely a time than the one on the astrology sites that only give it a D rating (AA being verified with a birth certificate.) so I fiddled with tha time which seemed more appropriate to what I was seeing in his chart.
The thing that wowed me was in doing a solar return for this year ( a prediction for the year ahead from one birthday to the next) and what came up was the ascendant cusp was exactly the sign and degree of the ascendant cusp for the United States chart. Maybe that only signifies he is running for President but I still thought it was interesting and that my rectified birth time might be correct, or close to correct.
His progressed Moon for election day is exactly on top of the U.S. Chart natal Jupiter. The moon represents a candidate’s appeal to the public and to be conjunct THE planet of good fortune is well, good fortune! His solar arc part of fortune reads ” a man who for a time had become the embodiment of a popular ideal is made to realize that as a person he is not that ideal”. When I first read that I thought, uh oh, Newt loses but then again, maybe it is talking about Obama? That part of fortune is opposite the natal Venus and Venus is known as “the lesser benefic” (jupiter is “the big benefic”) so that is a good thing.
His progressed ascendant is on top of his natal Jupiter ( a good thing!) and there are other things I noted that could signify a win for Newt. Remember this is only if I have anywhere near a correct birthtime.
So, a recent asteology magazine outlined that Obama’s opponent would be a Pisces as that is the sign on his house of open enemies in his solar return. The only 2 Pisces in the race were Romney and Rick Perry. The magazine didn’t feel either would win because neither had a tie to 25 Aquarius in their charts. This author used the Scorpio rising chart. I use the Sagitarrius rising. there are a couple charts for the U.S. Since no one really knows the exact birthtime thus making the rising signs different.
This year Saturn is in Scorpio and in previous years that has had a profound effect on U.s. Elections. The historical trend is the big business party wins when Saturn is in Scorpio, (Coolidge, Eisenhower, Reagan)… The historical trend makes that pretty clear as to which party will win. However, Obama has some pretty nice factors in his solar return chart that I won’t go into. The saving grace for those of us who want him kicked to the curb is Virgo is rising in that chart and Mercury (virgo,s ruler) will be retrograde on Election day. That makes it debillitated which is good for us.
Sorry so long winded, I could write more especially about the author,s notions of Obama and 25 aquarius but I am afraid I will lose all I have written if I dont post! Typing on an IPad wso sorry for the typos with this damn virtual keyboard and fat fingers!
Will get to that as soon as I can. We just painted the computer room and everything is in disarray and unplugged but can still type on this ipad, just ignore the mistakes!
wow, yes. This is interesting. Not long reading at all, considering the subject.
I know the iPad typing problem, It decides what IT wants to type, sometimes.
Yes, we’re ALL to blame….but not our BO….we’re just simpley too Stoooopid to realize his greatness and infallibility…. LOL
[...]There is one person — one American among the 300 million of us — who is not to blame for the state of the union. Everyone else, each of you, in some small or large way, bears some share of the blame, but not this guy. Not one little bit.
This guy is Barack Obama. He is not the least bit to blame for the dismal state of the U.S. economy. George W. Bush is, for sure, and that evil Dick Cheney, oh, no doubt. House Speaker John A. Boehner — evil, too — is, of course, to blame. But guess what? So is Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, and every Democrat in the House and Senate.[...]
Yes, indeed, we’ re not worthy of BO and MO and their wonderfulness or their Excellent Adventure into Hope and Change….. LOL
As I posted over at Motus [because it was relevant to a post there} the problems with both Moo and Boo is their legacy of Affirm Action. Their very lives have been a gift from the Elite and the taxpayers.. They have chosen to forget or ignore this.. Aff Act sets the bar so low that the degrees acquired are almost meaningless, except for the doors they open. Both O’s certainly knew where to find the doors, that is the extent of their talents.
The problem arises, when they start to think they have actually Earned something, and therefore, must be super smart, even if all signs point to the contrary..
They will never tolerate being challenged, and they will never live up to their own un-achievable expectations,, a real lose/lose scenario. Thus the anger and the hubris..
They will never acknowledge this, even to themselves, but the facade will continue to crack under the strain..I think the evident poutiness of the children is linked to the fact they know their parents are fakes. What a horror that would be for kids.
”
Rather than fight out their differences in policy, Mr Axelrod told Obama that the only way to secure a defeat was to attack Mrs Clinton’s character. The goal was to paint Obama as the “authentic ‘remedy’ to what ails Washington and stands in the way of progress” and to discredit his main rival in the process.
“It may not be her fault, but Americans have deeply divided feelings about Hillary Clinton, threatening a Democratic victory in 2008 and insuring another four years of the bitter political battles that have plagued Washington for the last two decades and stymied progress,” the memo added.”
Almost was afraid to click the link, thinking it was a real 99er, you know the kind, they hotbox the basement then Jangle! their guitar until the steel strings are all stretched out and nasty.
Birdie, you have got to read this one….it’s a real bombshell!
[...]A key source for writer Ryan Lizza is a 57-page, “Sensitive & Confidential” memo written by economist Larry Summers—eventually to be head of Obama’s National Economic Council—to Obama in December 2008. Here’s some of what I learned about Team Obama’s thinking as the financial crisis was exploding, followed by quotes from the memo itself:[...]
especially this part…
[...]The short-run economic imperative was to identify as many campaign promises or high priority items that would spend out quickly and be inherently temporary. … The stimulus package is a key tool for advancing clean energy goals and fulfilling a number of campaign commitments.[...]
Sucks to be us!! We’re all stuck paying BO’s freight!
Have to share this. Saw it on NBC news and laughed my butt off.
Newt Gingrich said he would hold 7 debates with Obama, timed, with no moderator, and he would allow Obama his teleprompter.
And Newt would win each one! He can debate the heck out most people.
Or a doorknob…………or a cockroach…………or a dessicated mummy…………
The scary news out of South Carolina today is….Mitt is dropping like a stone and Newt very well may win…
It should go to make Romney better. We’ll see.
I think that’s great news. I don’t want to have to hold back the vomit and vote for mittens romneycare. And he CAN’T beat comrade downgrade. Newt can.
Talk about toned arms! LOL
So much going on anymore;
Good going Alabama!!
Obama sing Al Green!! How so very cool;) “Let’s stay togrther”. (at a Harlen fund raiser) It doesn’t get any better ……
How many hours, in front of the mirror (not MOTUS) did it take him to do this? Take 455, again, try it again..take 456, take…This was not spontaneous!!
and, not that great. no depth to his voice….. just like there is no depth to him
Breathy little girl trying to be sexy….YUCK!!
The latest un-presidential act from one of the unqualified occupants at the White House.
I. Am. So.
We want to help with technology and support to develop these oil reserves safely, and, when you’re ready to start selling, we want to be one of your best customers.”[...]
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/jan/19/china-gets-jump-on-us-for-brazils-oil/
I can’t stand to read this stuff anymore…it’s a nightmare….and he stopped the pipeline….he is trying to shut US down.
And he gave $1 billion to Bangladesh… 85% Muslims, is that why they deserved a billion?
Why not spread some of the wealth around to struggling families HERE in the US? Screw Obama. Just the mention of his name makes me ill.
{snicker} too funny!
http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2012/01/georgia-judge-orders-obama-to-appear-at-hearing/
Oh, this sounds like fun…….
Wait for it ….birther, racist, Bush appointee Judge should be impeached !
I do hope that Bolton becomes Secretary of State in the new administration.
That would be great….he has the experience and is more then qualified. Loved him at the UN…a force for a lot of good
Excellent point! You’re right on about the difference between the Obamas and the Romneys.
….and it can’t be stressed enough by the new media….I plan on pushing that difference on the blogs I visit.
An added thought on wealth and taxation….

He’s managed to insult the highest court, the R-words and even the citizens of the US.
http://www.politico.com/arena/
At least that’s his last one, if I recall
BO lies…..again {sigh} If he wants to help the middle class, let the Keystone Pipeline be built
[...]One source on the call said Obama referred to his a speech he delivered in Kansas last month — where he sought to portray himself as a champion of the middle class — and said he is striving for an economy where everyone is “engaging in fair play and everyone has a fair shot.”[...]
The ONLY *fair shot* we will have is when the King of Lies and Deceit is tossed out of Big White. PERIOD
http://weaselzippers.us/2012/01/20/president-obama-holds-conference-call-to-gather-input-for-upcoming-state-of-the-union-address/
BOBS will say ANYthing to fool the people… he only cares about his agenda… just recall what he promised in 2008 and what has he delivered.
So, in a way it is a Win-Win for Obama – He wins his Green base and his Crony Capitalism base.
http://www.freeenterprise.com/energy-environment/north-dakota-stuck-using-more-costly-railroads-move-oil
I loathe Barack Hussein Obama.
And, I’ll just bet his records aren’t sealed and I’ll also bet my house that people there actually remember him being there
.
How about a high-school sweetheart, a prom picture, a college romance, all something that Obama can’t or won’t produce.
He probably played a sport, belonged to some chess club or something.
Take away the privileged life-style and he’s more like us than the Obamas would ever be.
I loathe Barack Hussein Obama.
YEP, he’s pretty despicable!!
Also the Clintons and Gores are soaked in money… it’s so typical of these people to hoard wealth and resent any conservative for having any money.
I bet these new Jordan shoes will fit Mooch. She could wear them with one of her outfits with her boob, bullet belt, too small of sweater, dirty, unkept wig and present herself to the Hollywood crowd as the First Clown of the White House. The shoes are soooooooooo ugly, butt would be the deloght of MooCow…oops, Mooch!
http://usdailytime.com/spike-lee-gives-obama-special-air-jordans/
Good heavens, what kind of idiots wrote the article on that page? Jivin’, no doubt. I was very disappointed to see my favorite candle company advertising there.
I am all for Barry paying more taxes. Let him finance the government all he wants, after all Mooch has literally spent millions on her vaycays, parties, and more than likely other hidden things that the Obutts have kept undr cover. BUTT, hey Barry, leave my taxes alone, I don’t want to support your socialistic, welfare state, you closet supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood.
http://nation.foxnews.com/president-obama/2012/01/20/obama-i-should-pay-more-taxes
As I recall, his last tax return was something like 65 pages long….took every credit/ loophole that he could. I don’t blame anyone for taking the credits they can, but, don’t then turn around and play the class card.
Amen Annie’s Mom!
Of course, I understand why Blacks still cover for Barry and Mooch, butt it is still frustrating as a voting citizen and taxpayer that these phonies may get another four years to distroy America as a country of freedom and prosperity.
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/01/13/michelle-obama-confronts-racial-stereotypes-in-white-house-tell-all.html
I looked at this –
Another writer who doesn’t know what “the eye of the storm” means. Sigh.
That’s the best picture they could come up with to counter the notion that MoochMORE is an angry woman?
I confess I could not bear to read the article after my eyes caught some phrase about no one being able to deny MoochMORE’s grace, intellect, etc. Generally, I don’t read fiction..
Newt is expected win in SC tonight. Either Newt or Mitt is OK as far as I’m concerned.
These kids need to learn that they are Americans and all the great American of the past, of all races and backgrounds, are their ancestors, not just the ones who had their genetic makeup or came from a certain nation.
http://www.childfund.org/united-states/
The dominant culture always wins, it’s an historical truth.
Which is why we need to worry about the millions of illegal alien Mexicans and other latinos here who are forming razist groups and instituting Spanish in an English-speaking culture.
And the muslims with their litigation jihaad.
WOW…Newt won, big time. Is this a fluke, or are the fly-over, gun-toting, bible-thumping folks sayin’ something?
47 states to go…..one thing I did note, 30% of Indies voted for Newt in this particular primary.
The base is revolting because they swept the GOP back into relevance in Washington just under two years ago and they have been thanked with contempt ever since…”
http://directorblue.blogspot.com/2012/01/romney-loses-south-carolina-by-31.html
Looks like Newt and Mitt will keeping debating and fighting, let the best man win and be ready to trash BOBS with or without teleprompters. Both of them have so much more REAL experience that my guess is BOBS will look like a man child in comparison.
This is going to be one long wait for November.
I’m sure you will keep up the good work to help us defeat BO.
Looking at your counter on the right, you are getting a goodly number of hits on this site.
Keep it going and we’ll keep linking relevant info.
i am here to fight against the two hypocrits in the White House.
They all slunk back into the woodwork or under their respective rocks with their payola.
Things just got a whole lot more interesting.
NY Times is on life support… serves them right….who needs lame reporting like that.
The move underscores the intense political divide among unions over the pipeline, which would carry oil sands crude from Alberta, Canada, to refineries along the Gulf Coast.[...]
http://thehill.com/blogs/e2-wire/e2-wire/205441-labor-union-leaves-bluegreen-alliance-over-keystone-disagreement

They have no shame. They are all disgusting.
Only Carter had lower approval ratings at this point in his Presidency…..37.4%. Bo at 44% (there is something wrong with those people)

OR, you can demand he bring you his absentee ballot and fill it out in front of you – don’t forget to have the latest copy of your WILL lying on the table
.
Imagine: a FLOTUS sitting with her legs together and dress pulled down. Crossing at the ankles. Properly fitting clothes.
No more Camel-Toe-MO!
Carole, I hate to make you nauseous, but let’s have a little fun:

No Air Force One at her beck and call. LOL

OMG!! She is so disgusting. Personal hygiene is obviously not a priority with her. Those feet should not be allowed to be visible in public.
Too MOOCHawful — in that last photo she has more paint on her face than any 48 year old hooker.
*There* is a long road…
Fired up and can’t spell.
Her husband Mark made a stupid comment blaming the tea party for
Gabby’s shooting.
Hopefully, his 15 minutes of fame will be over now.
The Dems trotted Gabby out for photo ops and sympathy.
Now she serves no use to them.
From Maureen Dowd New York Times: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/22/opinion/sunday/dowd-showtime-at-the-apollo.html?ref=opinion
Great read…thanks for posting this! We’re all sooo stupid:
““the American public just did not appreciate their exceptional leader.”
Hard to appreciate a leader who spends his time making policy that proves he hates us all.
I really like Sheriff Paul Babeu…running for the Congressional 4th district:

Then in this one, look at the skin on her chin, by her laugh line … and follow that line over toward her ears. It looks like she has gotten her dark skin out of a makeup bottle. Or else her makeup guy painted a white woman zone onto her neck and a slice of her chin. What’s up with that?

LOL
That’s because he is so needy!! I have never seen a Prez so in need of being loved and admired.
I just wish the containment system wasn’t so obvious. Panty lines in a formal gown are a big no-no! MO doesn’t get that the simplest of things count when wearing high fashion. {sigh}
What I notice is that MOOCH’s hands are much, much larger than her husbands.
Is the love affair over for some of the media?….definitely …. LOL
They told me if I voted for McCain……….fill in the blank

I am disgusted with Mitt…
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0112/71802.html
Woo Hoo, Francine! You just hit it out of the ballpark! My sentiments exaaaccctttlllyyyy! Good one!
I will vote for whichever one gets the nomination too…..at least I can say Gingrich has made the media squirm….that part is fun to watch.
Have you examined his chart? I would be interested to know what you find.
When you’re able to get to a keyboard I would love to know a lot more!!
LOL
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/jan/22/curl-the-truly-dismal-state-of-the-union/
Axelrod memo to BO….and he agreed to the ugly…..
