The cascade of attacks on our liberties is neverending of late, particularly the 1st and 2nd Amendments. Obama tells us “To whom much is given, much will be asked”, but he only means that in monetary terms. Much has been given to us in the form of freedom by the Bill of Rights and our Constitution. Now Obama wants us to willingly give it up to be replaced by the jackboot of government on our necks. Obama states, “The Constitution says what the government can’t do to you, not what the government can do for you”. But, his government has created more opportunites for his crony insiders then for the average citizen. Warren Buffet’s wealth increased by 154 million dollars with the Mortgage Settlement deal crafted by the DOJ. Much of that 25 billion will be dispersed to community organizations (ACORN) whose names may have changed but not their tactics. This is a major coup for them. Since Obama has been installed our treasury has been drained and our deficit will reach 110% of GDP in 2013.

Even though I can’t vote for any of the Repub candidates in the primary, I’ve been following all the debates and listening to what they say because one of them will be our next President.
Which brings me to MrsPalin’s speech at CPAC.
She talked about America, not about the supposed failings of the Repub candidates. Her fervor for the re-emergence of a proud America, one that isn’t dependent on the government for success and a people who are free of all the restrictive laws that none of us support.
It was refreshing and made me feel good about our future.
Which brings me to MrObama’s constant speeches.
He talks about how bad things are, how we aren’t giving enough, that we aren’t good enough and the only way to make things “fair” are to tax and tax and tax. He isn’t promising poor people a better life, but trying to make his friends richer. He talks about crumbling roads, poor schools as if we, the people, were in charge of making repairs and hiring the teachers.
His speeches are depressing and make us afraid for our future.
Which brings me to PM Netanyahu of Israel’s speech before Congress.
He told us we are good people and they were grateful for all that America has done to promote peace and prosperity around the world. He made us proud to be Americans.
I want our Repub candidates, one who will be the next President, to stop trashing each other and to tell us how we’re going to make America great again, to how we can be proud of our accomplishment and that our future will be the return of pride and prosperity.
We still have our accomplishments, we still have a reason to be proud, we are still a great country…we just have an asshat and his wife who are trying their best to make us think differently about our country. We aren’t the problem, they are!!

Sarah is doing what she does best: speaking and electrifying conservatives around the country. Once we have a candidate, I believe we will rally because we have real issues around which to gather and which we must protect. We must protect our Constitution from further erosion and we must put in place legislation that will prevent another Obama from future shredding.

I have been wondering how the Muslim population viewed this particular incursion into religious rights. Today I read that the entire Muslim population has an exemption from Health Care Law because it was against their beliefs to participate.
The other thing I read today is that the new Health Care Law plans to reduce or eliminate maternity coverage.
Sorry: that should read “Freediom of Religion”, and again, NOT “Freedom of Worship”.
If one group gets an exemption, then everyone else gets one too. BO talks a lot of s**t about “fair”, now’s his chance to prove it.

I’m so glad there was no internet when I was 15. If I wanted to rant about my unfair life I had to ride my bike to a friend’s house, get them outside, have my rant and bike back home. Nothing like exercise to help you settle down. I really think parents and kids have it so much harder today with all the electronic temptations. Hopefully she’ll grow up and thank her dad someday for having the guts to give her rules and enforce them come what may.
At about 12, I decided I wanted to go “live off the land”. My girlfriend and I snuck out one morning, and left notes on our pillows…something along the lines of “I’ll be fine, don’t come looking for me”.
Barbara and I spent the day searching for wild onions, dandelions…and I honestly don’t remember what else. Needless to say, by 4 pm we were back home. My dear Mom was shocked…she never even saw the notes….Thanks Mom.

By trashing of the 1st amendment, Obama has tipped his hand. The mask is off. The mandates in private insurance by the government have never happened before in this country. We see in plain daylight exactly where he wants to take us.
What hasn’t been discussed but is equally important is end of life issues. On New Year’s day in 2011, the government implemented new Medicare fee policies for physicians including a “voluntary end-of-life care” provision that would reimburse doctors for advising patients on end-of-life care.
Allow me to translate: “You’re a burden. Please die.”
The benign sounding Institute of Medicine was established and populated with people from Planned Parenthood, NARAL, and those who support abortion causes. You can tell by those on the committee the direction they’re going.
If he is reelected, older people will be coerced into signing documents whose goal is to greatly curtail money spent on them when someone else decides their life is no longer useful.

A friend in England told me that anyone of any means goes to a ‘private physician.’ So, in the future, all of us will be paying premiums for a bunch of freeloaders. Then, if we want to see a physician while we still are actually sick and before we die, we must go the private physician route. So we’ll be paying for them, too. We’re screwed unless we get rid of Obama.

The “end of life” counselling isn’t going to be limited to seniors….a baby born with severe disablilities that could still have a meaninful life but with expensive medical care…;….an adult who needs a transplant or is severely injured and paralyzed….a child who develops a certain strain of lukemia or cancer. These are just some of the expensive medical treatments that some government flunkie is going to decide who gets what.
Oh, you work at Walmart and you need chemo….too bad. Oh, you’re a college professor and you need chemo, why sure.
This kind of law is not “American”. We know that some of us require great expenses to be healthy or their child needs open-heart surgery and we’re OK with that. We share the expense and thank God for our own good health. We’re generous and want to help each other. This law makes our government the sole decider of who lives and who dies.

When my husband got sick in 2010 and went by ambulance to the hospital, I was already laid off from work and receiving unemployment, so no insurance. He had already been out of work so no insurance there either. He was admitted to the hospital with no kidney function. He was put on dialysis right away. That evening he was having trouble breathing so was taken to ICU, there he developed over 3 liters of fluid around the heart. He had every single test known to the physicians including a bone marrow test and after a week still had no idea what was making him sick. He almost died 3 times that week. After almost 2 weeks they found he had Cat Scratch Fever. Believe it or not he had picked up the bacteria and had one of the worst cases the Dr’s ever saw. Well, to make a super long story short, they found a combination of medications that killed the bacteria, but it left him with a faulty aortic valve (that’s where the infection settled). He ended up having open heart surgery and a double by-pass (as a precaution if problems developed later) and a permanent pacemaker as the lower chamber of his heart won’t beat on its own now. He was in the hospital for 10 weeks. His bill was $613,947.28. That was just the hospital bill, not the Dr’s. Some kind soul(s) paid the bill. We have no idea who so we have no way to thank them except to make sure his meds are taken and he keeps every Dr’s appointment he gets. He is doing excellent. This is possible because of American people that care about each other. They give because they can afford to and because they care for other human beings. If we had Obamacare my husband would be dead, and I am absolutely positive of that. He was 58 at the time, too old to spend over a half million in medication, tests, and hosptial staff.
We need to get Obama out of office or we will all end up dead, or at the very least dying from his socialist ways.
