BO has told private jet owners they are being greedy for using them when the economy is in shambles, but uses AF2 like a personal recreation vehicle. BO makes an issue of being “fair” when it comes to other wealthy people and their lifestyle, but lives the same type of lifestyle they do. How is it “fair” to the taxpayers, who foot the bill for the lavish vacations, when it costs them $600,000 to 1 million for a three day skiing holiday for MO. We don’t have to “sit down and shut up” when we’re paying for it. We have the right to point out the hypocrisy of the “do as I say, not as I do” crowd.

Whitney doesn’t deserve adulation. She was beautiful with a perfect figure and talent beyond anyone in my memory. She had natural grace and humility. However, she chose to squander it all. The first time she did drugs, it was a choice. And each time she did them up until addiction, it was a choice.

What we haven’t been able to accomplish in decades, Obama has done practically overnight. The Catholic Bishops are united 100% in opposing Obama’s HHS mandate. All Catholic Bishops in the United States have united to oppose Obama’s unconstitutional directive. This failed administration now has the wrath of the Catholics to tend with and that is a serious wrath. We are 60 million strong and a swing of just 3% is more than enough to swing the election with everything else being equal. IMO, the BIG problem is the Supreme Court’s decision on the Obamacare laws.
By forcing the issue of the “state” telling an established religion that they must turn against their beliefs or face massive fines is a direct violation of the constitution. They simply can’t see it any other way. No part of the government can ORDER a religious group to violate their beliefs, no matter how it’s perceived.
This issue, alone, should be enough for the Supremes to cast down the whole law.
If they decide on this matter, the Obama administration will not be able to enforce or compel anyone to do anything that’s included in this massive fiasco.

With the recent decision that was unanimous (9-0) concerning a Lutheran Church’s ability to hire and fire persons who preach what they believe, I am absolutely certain this will never stand. Butt, I think it was a sheer cold political calculation.

In terms of the Obamacare mandate, yes, it probably does come down to Kennedy. He made a statement after last year’s SOTU when Obama dissed the Supreme Court. I’m paraphrasing, but basically it was that he wouldn’t retire while Obama was in office to prevent him from choosing his replacement.
And, I think that this latest mandate and the reaction to it doesn’t help Obama’s cause at the court. PLUS, Obama’s lawyers are arguing that it’s a tax, yet his representatives have said repeatedly that it isn’t a tax. What a freaking liar this imperial president is.

Hm. As a child, I went to a school named after him, and just now learned this fact.
When I read his biography, given to me by my dad, I was floored. Some things should never be forgotten, some people should be remembered for the grace and dignity they gave to others and their courage in the face of evil.
It’s about time that Roman Catholics stand up to Nobama. They supported his marxist Obamacare 100% until Obama double-crossed the Catholics. Since 1930s Catholics have stood with socialistic policies of taking from the rich and giving some of it to the poor after the Federal Govt. took their share. They all said it was charity.
