In the months to come, political strategists expect to see the first family used as a political asset.

“The value of the family is enormous,” said Democratic pollster Celinda Lake. “The more you know this family and the more you think of Barack Obama in these terms, the harder it is to vilify him.”

MO told a gaggle of reporters last week “Malia and Sasha enjoy campaigning”.  Since when have their children become a “political asset”? This strategy by the BO campaign is directed at middleclass Americans. You know, the ones who were robbed to pay for his 800 billion Stimulus Bill which turned out to stimulate his big donors and friends. This is part of the new theme BO has come up with to assure middleclass voters the future will be brighter and to alleviate their fears. He can’t run on his record, a dismal one at best. He can’t run on “hope and change”, an abysmal failure of pipe dreams. He certainly can’t run on “transforming America” since most of us hate the transformations BO has done to health care, energy production, the cost of living, bailouts,  the Constitution,  in the form of executive orders and mandates. So, one of the few things left is to use his children as “political assets” in his bid for re-election. You had to know this was coming, it’s all BO has left.  The rigors of campaigning are tough, especially the Presidential campaign. I doubt very much the decision to go on the campaign trail was one Malia and Sasha made. Dragging them into the muck of a campaign is just wrong….seriously. BO and MO will do anything to assure re-election, even use their children as “political assets”.
