That “dress” was hideous. Not only did it hang like a sack or tent on her, but the hemline was uneven too. The slouchy drape of the sweater? part of the dress just hung all droopy and gave her no shape whatsoever. IMO it was a very unflattering outfit for her. The only saving grace of it was the color. I thought the deeper cobalt/royal blue was very complimentary and pretty on her. She does look nice in jewel tones, but this outfit’s lack of fit/design was atrocious on her. Just my little opinion…

I was reading an interesting article recently about foreclosure processing in the court system in FL. It was stated, as fact, by the person who has responsibility for this in the court system (and who was presenting this information in her request for funding a separate foreclosure court) that the number of foreclosures are being artificially suppressed right now because the banks don’t want to deal with the court delays and the current uncertainty (in regulations and such), and that a flood of foreclosures is going to happen through 2016. That is pretty shocking to me, that we have so many more years of this mess ahead of us.

Egypt’s ultra-conservative “Salafists Call” condemned Hamas leader in Gaza Ismail Haniya shortly after he led a prayer in the al-Azhar Mosque on Friday, saying he met with Shiite leaders last week while all the killing in Iraq is ongoing and Sunnis are attacked almost daily.
“We refuse that Haniya leads the prayer in Egypt’s largest Sunni mosque after he shook hands with the Shiites, and Egypt is the country of the Sunni al-Azhar [and we] do not accept a man who put his hand into the hand that kills Sunnis in Iraq and Syria,” said a statement released by the Salafi Call on Friday.
Haniya is visiting Egypt for meetings with Egyptian officials on Gaza and the peace process with Israel.
The Call said that Haniya, who is being supported by the Muslim Brotherhood, follows a method of “lying, cheating and cunning and plays on all fronts after he shook hands with Shiite in Iran and Hezboallah and Bashar al-Assad and now he comes to Egypt to shake ours, despite he never condemned Assad even once.”

Lynn II, thank you so much for being so well informed and updated on what is presently going on in the world and Barry’s administration. Yesterday, I ended a long substitute position as a Special Ed Resource Specialist since I am crtedentialed to do that. It was almost a relief to end my stint at middle school. What is going on in education in CA and probably all over in America is horrible. I have taught over 43 years and there is no way I can even explain the mess that is going on in education for respect for each other or a desire to control one’s own behavior. Thjat is just students. The teachers entering the field are what is part of the system problem overall. Teachers popping babies without marriage, dressing like hoochies, dressing like they are hiking or slumming around the house, entering the education field late in life and realizing they will have tro teach until 70 or 80 to even retire at their present level. Burn out is so obvious among teachers. teaching has beome someting to do when children leave the nest, welfare pays you to go to college, You retire from Fed, state county jobs or you got tired of owning a business. Dedication from the start to teach is not what is bringing people into the profession. Online cheap college credentials with little or no classroom time or hands on experience is what is filling teaching positions. Teachers have admitted to me that someone else did their lessons for them. I have no idea if they were able to get someone to take the state exam for them to get a credential. The students are out of control and the teachers, administrators are not the quality that I worked with when I entered in my 20s and actually graduated from Colorado with a taeching credential that I earned on my own without cheating. Teaching seems to be the choice of last resort if you are older, retired from gov jobs, affirmative action helped you, welfare got tyou off their system, or you needed a job and had a degree. Desire and dedication is no longer the main element to be a teacher…sigh!!

The double standard in the US is starting to creep into the courts when it comes to practitioners of Islam and everyone else. From conferences held on Islamophobia to people being admonished in Courts of law for offending the sensibilities of Muslims, we are being bullied to accept a double standard and multiculturalism. The results of this are finally coming to a head in the UK.
